Duct Tape Art Gallery Welcome to the web's original duct tape art gallery! Created in the spring of 1997, the gallery has drawn tens of thousands of visitors. It has been often lauded, sometimes denigrated, featured in a duct-tape-a-day calendar and granted a handful of web-based awards. But its greatest triumphs are the host of similarly inspired sites which have sprung up on the web, the most popular being run by Jim and Tim, the Duct Tape Guys. Duct tape, also known as duck tape, and gaffa (or gaffer) tape somehow combines a level of functionality, humor and a sense of the risqué into a package that few seem to be able to resist, including myself. Like duct tape's magical ability to stick to almost anything, it also seems to have a mystic draw that makes us stop and look. This is my tribute to the silvery stuff we all know and love so well.
