Ross Patty, the owner of Quirkz Media, is mostly pursuing personal interests at the moment. But if you want to know his qualifications, he has been building web sites since 1994. He has worked in diverse environments—everywhere from corporate, to university, to small and startup businesses, to partnering with freelancers. He has worked on intranets, extranets, and regular ol' nets of all types, and is comfortable with HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Python, among other technologies. Image manipulation and graphic conversion, especially through Photoshop, are specialties. Quirkz Media is capable of working independently but has also frequently collaborated with others on projects, and is, for instance, quite comfortable working with an outside designer's layout to create a web site.

In the field of copy editing, Ross has developmental or copy editing credit on more than 60 books, including a great number of volumes from the Complete Idiot's Guide series, but also literary fiction, humor, science fiction, fantasy, and biographical works. At least one of these has been a New York Times Best Seller. He really loves books of all kinds, and while he's not actively looking for work, he's pretty easy to talk into a project if you're paying.

Ross created and ran the computer game Twilight Heroes for a number of years before handing it over to new management.

Under the alias Aaron Rath, he has written five books, mostly novels with a stray motivational book in the mix, all extremly funny. More are on the way. Expect one every year or so for the next few decades, probably.
